Maytag Front Load Washer

Reference Model: MHW5500FW1

Problem: Machine doesn't add enough water in any wash cycle, but does in rinse and diagnostic cycles. The control board and water level switch have been replaced and the problem persists.

Diagnosis:

As per the tech sheet, run the quick diagnostic tests 6 & 7 listed on the sheet to check the water valves and the pressure sensor. This unit fills by load sensing, which normally produces 2.5" to 5" of water in the tub.
