Whirlpool Refrigerator Not Producing Ice

Reference Model: WRX735SDBM00

Problem: Whirlpool refrigerator not producing ice. Water valve seems ok, ice maker was replaced twice and worked for a day before stopping each time.

Diagnosis: Before replacing the main control board, consider the following:

1) There are two water valves that need to be energized to supply water to the icemaker, the icemaker valve and the isolation valve. Many times isolation valve is not powered because of a faulty diode in the wiring harness.

2) There is a interconnect switch which is part of the left hand refrigerator light switch. This supplies 120vac to P3 pin 5 of the main control board when the door is closed. Is there 120vac to the ice maker itself when the doors are closed?

3) Is it cold enough in the ice room for the ice maker to cycle? It needs to be at least 15 degrees F or lower. This would apply to the ice box fan and ice box thermistor components
