Whirlpool Refrigerator Various Frost Issues

Reference Model: WRF736S

Problem: Frost covering back wall of freezer, evaporator fan motor not running, display panel powering on and off every 3 seconds, causing the diagnostics to be unavailable.

---

Diagnosis:

Remove the frost to allow the evaporator fan motor to move, then remove power from the unit, re-powering a few minutes later. Evaporator fan motor should begin to operate correctly if it is undamaged. Refer to Whirlpool tech sheet below and service bulletin below for information regarding possible causes for the frost.
