Remove the racks. Leaving the oven racks in the oven during a self-cleaning cycle will discolour the oven racks and make them difficult to slide in and out of position.
Do NOT use the surface burners while the oven is operating in the self clean mode.
How to set the oven for self-cleaning.
Make sure the oven door is completely closed.
Press the Self Clean pad on the oven control panel. Press the pad once for a 2-hour cleaning cycle, twice for a 3-hour cleaning cycle, or three times for a 4-hour cleaning cycle. Pressing the pad a fourth time will reselect the 2-hour default time. The display will show Clean.
Press the START/SET pad to start the cycle.
The display will show Clean and the selected cleaning cycle time, and the Lock icon will blink until the door is locked. Then the Lock icon will stay on until the cycle is over and the oven temperature is below 392 degrees F (200 degrees C). The oven temperature will rise and hold the preset self-clean temperature for the duration of the selected cleaning cycle. The display will count down the cleaning cycle in minutes and hours. When the time elapses, the oven will turn off and beep 6 times. -End- will show in the display and the Lock icon will blink. When the oven temperature falls below 392 degrees F (200 degrees C), the door unlocks and the Lock icon turns off.
Press the OVEN OFF pad. The display will go back to showing the time of day.
Be careful opening the oven door after a self-cleaning cycle. The oven is still very hot when the door unlocks. Escaping hot air and/or steam could burn you.
After the oven has cooled, wipe down the oven surfaces with a damp cloth to remove any ash residue.
To perform the self-cleaning cycle.
Make sure the door lock is released. Remove all racks from the oven cavity.
Make sure the oven door is closed completely and unlocked.
Press Self Clean once. Then, select the cleaning time by pressing Self Clean one or more times in accordance with the table below.

Press START/SET. The oven door is locked and the oven begins to heat up.
When the self-cleaning cycle is complete, the oven beeps 10 times. The door will remain locked and the Lock icon will blink until the oven temperature falls below 400 degrees F (204 degrees C).
When the Lock icon changes to an open lock, you can open the oven door. The Lock icon changes to an open lock when the oven temperature drops below 400 degrees F (204 degrees C).
Press OFF/CLEAR to display the time of the day.

The door stays locked until the internal oven temperature falls below 400 degrees F. When the oven has cooled down, wipe the oven surfaces with a cloth to remove ash residue.
We recommend venting your kitchen with an open window or using a ventilation fan or hood during the self-cleaning cycle.
Remove the wire rack, broil pan, broil pan insert, all cookware, and any aluminum foil from the oven. Wipe up debris from the oven bottom.
How to run a self-cleaning cycle.
Make sure the oven door is closed completely and unlocked. And turn off all oven and cooktop function.
Tap , and select Cleaning Self Clean using the dial knob. Then, select the cleaning time. (2 hour / 3 hour / 5 hour).
Tap START/SET.
The oven door is locked automatically and the oven begins to heat up.
The oven door locks automatically. The display will show the cleaning time remaining.
When the self-cleaning cycle is done, End will appear in the display and the range will beep several times.
You may notice some white ash in the oven. Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the oven cools.
Steam-cleaning:
How to set the oven for steam-cleaning.
For light cleaning, the steam-cleaning function saves time and energy. For heavier-duty cleaning, use the self-cleaning function.
Remove all accessories from the oven.
Pour approximately 10 oz. (300 ml) of water onto the bottom of the empty oven and then close the oven door. Use normal water only, not distilled water.
Tap , and select Cleaning, Steam Clean using the dial knob.
Tap START/SET.
The oven door is locked automatically and the oven begins to heat up. When the operation is complete, the display will blink and a beep will sound.
Press OFF.
Clean the oven's interior. There will be a significant amount of water remaining on the bottom of the oven after a steam-cleaning cycle. Remove the residual water with a sponge or soft dry cloth.

How to run a self-cleaning cycle.
Select the length of time for the self-cleaning operation, eg. 3 hours. Press Self Clean once for a 3 hour clean time, twice for a 5 hour clean time, or 3 times for a 2 hour clean time. The default setting is 3 hours.
Start the self-cleaning cycle. Press START/SET. The motor-driven door lock will engage automatically.
You will not be able to start a self-cleaning cycle if the control lockout feature is activated or if the oven's temperature is too hot. The oven door locks automatically. The display will show the clean time remaining. It is not be possible to open the oven door until the temperature drops to a safe/cool temperature. The self-cleaning feature will not operate when the warming center is on.
When the self-cleaning cycle is done, End will appear in the display and the range will beep 6 times.
