These error code explanations can help you diagnose a problem with your Haier HDY series dryer.

| E1 | Door is open | Close the dryer door if open. If the door is closed when the code is displayed, unplug the dryer and reconnect the wire harness on the door switch. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness is okay, replace the door switch | Door switch, Wire harness |
| E2 | Not heating | If the dryer actually doesn't heat, unplug the dryer and replace any defective heating system components.
