GE Washer Won't Go Into High Speed Agitation
Reference Model: WMCD2050J2WC
Problem: Washer will not go into high speed agitation on any cycle selection. Motor has been reset with no success.
Diagnosis:
1) Check the LED indicator on the inverter, found on top of the motor. The components these flashes correspond to can be found in the manufacturer's mini manual
2) If this fails to produce a result, check the schematic, also displayed in the mini manual. Pins 2 and 3 on the 5 pin plug found on the inverter control speed. A pin not being activated could indicate an issue with either the speed selector switch or switch R5 in the timer (varies by model).
