GE Profile double oven range error codes:

These error code explanations can help you diagnose a problem with your GE Profile double oven range.

Code Meaning Possible Cause Possible Parts
F2.0 or F2.1 The control sensed that the upper oven overheated If the upper oven overheated, the electronic oven control board likely has a stuck relay; replace the electronic control board. If the upper oven is at room temperature, the upper oven temperature sensor could be defective. Unplug the range and measure the upper oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1100 ohms at 72 degrees F, replace the upper oven temperature sensor. If the resistance is correct, check the upper oven temperature sensor wiring. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wiring is okay, replace the electronic control board Upper oven temperature sensor, electronic control board, wire harness
F2.2 or F2.3 The control sensed that the lower oven overheated If the lower oven overheated, the electronic oven control board likely has a stuck relay; replace the electronic control board. If the lower oven is at room temperature, the lower oven temperature sensor could be defective. Unplug the range and measure the lower oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1100 ohms at 72 degrees F, replace the lower oven temperature sensor. If the resistance is correct, check the lower oven temperature sensor wiring. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wiring is okay, replace the electronic control board Lower oven temperature sensor, electronic control board, wire harness
F3.0 or F3.1 Upper oven temperature sensor failure Unplug the range and measure the upper oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter.
F3.2 or F3.3 Lower oven temperature sensor failure Unplug the range and measure the lower oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter.
F3.4 or F3.5 Electronic control board failure Unplug the range and replace the electronic control board Electronic control board
F7.0 or F7.1 Key panel failure Unplug the range and check the wiring between the key panel and the electronic control board. If the wiring is okay, replace the key panel. If the problem continues, replace the electronic control board Key panel, electronic control board
F8.0, F8.1 or F8.2 Electronic control board error Unplug the range for 3 minutes to reset the control board. Plug the range back in. If the error code returns, unplug the range and replace the electronic control board Electronic control board
F9.0 or F9.2 Upper oven door lock error Unplug the range and check the wiring on the upper oven door lock assembly. If the wiring is okay, replace the upper oven door lock assembly. If the problem continues, replace the electronic control board Upper oven door lock assembly, electronic control board
F9.3 or F9.5 Lower oven door lock error Unplug the range and check the wiring on the lower oven door lock assembly. If the wiring is okay, replace the lower oven door lock assembly. If the problem continues, replace the electronic control board Lower oven door lock assembly, electronic control board
